How do I apply these nails?

Step 1. Clean & Wash Your Hands
Start your nail journey with clean hands! Give your hands a good wash with soap and water to remove any dirt or germs. This step is super important to ensure your nails look fresh and fabulous.

Step 2. Gently Push Back Your Cuticles
Grab a cuticle pusher and gently push back your cuticles. This little step makes a big difference! Just be careful not to touch your natural nails afterward, as this can transfer oils and affect how well the press-ons stick. You want your nails to be as perfect as possible!

Step 3. Buff Those Nails
Take a nail buffer and lightly buff the surface of your nails. This helps create a smooth canvas for your press-ons. Once you’re done, give your nails a quick wipe with an alcohol pad to remove any dust or oils. Your nails will be prepped and ready to shine!

Step 4. File to Fit
Now it’s time to make those press-ons your own! Use a nail file to shape the press-ons to fit your cuticle shape perfectly. This ensures a seamless look and comfortable wear. Remember, a little filing can go a long way!

Step 5. Apply Glue or Adhesive Tabs
Whether you’re using glue or adhesive tabs, apply them carefully to your natural nails, placing them just under the cuticles. This helps with a secure fit and keeps everything looking neat.

Step 6. Attach the Press-Ons
Time for the fun part! Press the press-ons onto your nails and hold them for about 30 seconds. This helps them stick nicely and ensures they’re secure. You’re almost there!

Step 7. Avoid Water for 2 Hours
After all your hard work, try to avoid water for the next two hours. This helps the glue or adhesive tabs bond properly. It’s a great excuse to relax and enjoy some well-deserved me-time!

How long can I wear the nails?

Temporary Wear (3-4 days):

Extended Wear (up to 3 weeks): 
Want to keep the glam going? Use our nail glue for up to 3 weeks of stunning nails!

Lifestyle Matters: 
Remember, how long they last can depend on your lifestyle and how you apply them.

Pro Tip: 
Always start by wiping your nail bed with the alcohol pad in your kit. This little step helps your nails stick like a champ!

 

How do I remove them?

My best advice would be to use our complimentary cuticle oil pen - complimentary of course since I love my Girlys and my main goal is to preserve your nail health!

Alternatively,

You can always use the method of soaking you nails in a bowl of water mixed with dish soap and oil for 10-15 mins then push the press on nails using a cuticle stick.

However, I am personally not a fan of this since our nails gets extensively weaken when exposed to water for prolonged period of time, and you will still need to push the press on nails off your nail beds.

Considering the nails are already weakened by the water, it may produce more damage.

 

Are these nails reusable?

Yes, the nails are reusable, but it will depend on how you care of them. I've personally used my press on nails for up to 3 times!

Glue: Use your complimentary glue remover file on the back surface of the nails and gently file the excess glue.

Sticky Tab:  You can remove the sticky tab using a cuticle stick.

Always put your press on nails back into its case to keep it safe. 

 

How do I look after my press-ons?

Nail Application Time! 
Make sure to apply your stunning nails after you’ve wrapped up all your chores—like hair and makeup—so they have about an hour to "settle."

Steam Alert: 
Try to avoid hot showers and baths right after applying your nails. The steam and water can weaken the glue!

Dishwashing Tip: 
Use gloves when washing dishes, or see if your partner can help out! It’s more fun together!

Gentle Reminder: 
Treat your nails with care! Don’t use them as tools for opening cans or scratching—keep them looking pretty!

Storage is Key: 
After removing your nails, place them back in their case to keep them safe and ready for next time!

Shine Restoration: 
If your nails need a little shine boost, just wipe them with an alcohol pad (I’ve included extra for you, just in case! ).

Avoid the Grease: 
Keep oils, lotions, and creams away from your cuticles for at least 2 hours, as they can loosen the glue

No Nail Fights! 
And remember, your nails aren’t for battling! Using them that way could lead to losing both the nails and the fight! 😄
